Our Philosophy: Play!
We believe play is how children grow and learn — not a reward for finishing "real" work, and not a break from learning, but the learning itself. Through play, children build the skills that matter most: problem-solving, focus, empathy, resilience, and a genuine love of discovering the world around them.
Every child arrives with their own pace, their own interests, and their own way of seeing things — and we meet them exactly there. Our role isn't to direct childhood from the front of a classroom. It's to protect the space for childhood to unfold, by offering three things every single day:
Autonomy. We trust children to make choices, take risks, and direct their own exploration.
Respect. We listen to children as capable people with real thoughts and real feelings, not as problems to manage.
Love. Every child is held, encouraged, and known — not just cared for, but genuinely loved.
Why Choose CKA
Our Dedicated Team
We believe that teachers are the backbone of our community and all around some of the most amazing humans.

Small by design
With just two classrooms, our school stays intentionally small — small enough that every teacher knows every child, and every child feels like they belong. It's cozy and comfortable.

Inspired by Reggio and Nature
We see children as capable, curious, and full of ideas — not as empty vessels waiting to be filled. We see our outdoor classroom as our third teacher. Our approach follows children's lead, not a script.
